Tingkatan Manajemen Kepala Sekolah dalam Konteks Pendekatan Keterampilan Kepemimpinan

Abstract
This research used a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis and the SMARTPLS4 statistical analysis tool to investigate the relationship between school principal leadership skills in the context of a skills approach to management levels. Data was collected from 33 school principals under the auspices of the PESAT Foundation using a questionnaire instrument. The research results show that technical skills and conceptual skills have a significant influence on the principal's interpersonal skills. Apart from that, conceptual skills also have a significant influence on the management level of school principals. However, technical skills and interpersonal skills do not have a significant influence on the principal's management level. Furthermore, the research results show that interpersonal skills do not have a significant mediating role between technical skills and the principal's management level, nor between conceptual skills and the principal's management level. These findings demonstrate the complexity in the relationship between principals' leadership skills and highlight the importance of considering multiple factors in the development of effective leadership skills in the school environment.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dan alat analisis statistik SMARTPLS4 untuk menginvestigasi hubungan antara keterampilan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam konteks pendekatan keterampilan terhadap tingkatan manajemen. Data dikumpulkan dari 33 kepala kepala sekolah dibawah naungan Yayasan PESAT dengan instrumen kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan teknis dan keterampilan konseptual memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan interpersonal kepala sekolah. Selain itu, keterampilan konseptual juga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat manajemen kepala sekolah. Namun, keterampilan teknis dan keterampilan interpersonal tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat manajemen kepala sekolah. Lebih lanjut, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan interpersonal tidak memiliki peran mediasi yang signifikan antara keterampilan teknis dengan tingkat manajemen kepala sekolah, maupun antara keterampilan konseptual dengan tingkat manajemen kepala sekolah. Penemuan ini menunjukkan kompleksitas dalam hubungan antara keterampilan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan menyoroti pentingnya mempertimbangkan berbagai faktor dalam pengembangan keterampilan kepemimpinan yang efektif di lingkungan sekolah.
